Get to know Dick: Originally from Columbus, Ohio, after earning his MBA at Ohio University, Dick Ryan worked as an engineer for Westinghouse Electric in Atlanta, Ga. from 1971-1974. Moving to Hilton Head Island, and buying his first condominium in 1974, he served as director of the Island Beach Patrol until 1992. “Hilton Head Island is a great place to live,” he said. “I raised my four children (three boys and one girl) here, and the island gets better all the time.”

Real estate philosophy: As a long term islander and devoted family man, Dick has a deep desire to share his knowledge of the island and help his clients find the right property in the right neighborhood.
