For over 35 years, Gary Masales has been a shining star in sales. A Canadian from the province of Ontario, he excelled in the telecommunications industry. His flourishing career led him and his wife, Dianne, to the U.S. for the first time in 1984, when they moved to Detroit, Michigan. From there, the couple moved to Atlanta, Georgia, and Gary commuted throughout the Southeast and the Caribbean selling telecommunications products to many of the Fortune 500 companies.
After visiting Hilton Head Island, the Masales purchased a boat slip in Windmill Harbour. On long weekends, they loved cruising the Island's waterways, experiencing the restaurants and making extensive use of the biking and golfing amenities. They soon found they just couldn't stay away for very long. The vacations became more frequent and each visit seemed to stretch longer. They finally made Hilton Head Island their primary residence in 1995.
Taking a year off following his early retirement from the telecommunications industry, Gary knew it was time to get back into sales. Nothing appealed to him more than his beautiful new home on Hilton Head Island; so he put his vast sales expertise to work in the real estate industry.
Gary says the same sales principles apply whether relating to telecommunications or real estate. "I treat prospective clients with honesty and integrity. I strive to answer questions, provide clarification of concerns and make sure that my clients feel comfortable with their decisions."
Understanding the need for continuing education in this rapidly-changing real estate market, Gary successfully completed his Real Estate Buyer's Agent Council (REBAC) Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR) designation, as well as the Short Sales and Foreclosure Resource (SFR) certification.
