Born and raised in Tucson, Arizona I love the desert, the dry heat, and the mountains of southern Arizona. The sunsets are magnificent and the climate is second to none!  It's therefore unusual that I moved to a semi-tropical island off the East Coast like Hilton Head!

I attended SMU (Southern Methodist University / Dallas, TX) on a swimming scholarship.  While at S.MU, I was a 4 year All-American, ten time conference record-holder, and team captain my senior year.  During my 4 years at SMU, the team finished in the top 10 at the NCAA Championships every year. 

After graduating in 1979 with a BBA, I stayed in Dallas to train for the 1980 Olympic Trials.  At the Trials, I came within .5 seconds of making the team in both the 100 Free and 100 Fly.  Disappointed?  Yes, but swimming had been good to me.  I had traveled the world, made numerous friends, and received a free college education because of swimming.  I still swim just about every day! 

I started working at Palmetto Dunes in 1982 with Greenwood Communities and Resorts (owner of the resort) and was the Director of Customer Service.  I spent two years working in Customer Service at Palmetto Dunes and started in the sales division in 1984 with Dunes Marketing Group.

Since 1984, I have helped over 1500 families buy or sell Hilton Head Island property.  I have won numerous company, island, and national awards during my sales career at Palmetto Dunes.  I love to help families realize their dream of owning a property on this beautiful island.
