Twenty years ago I drove onto Hilton Head Island for the very first time with my husband, Lester, and two children, Brett and Christine. I am not sure what I expected, but the nurtured natural beauty, miles of beaches and world-class recreation ‘WOWED' me!" Lester spent time golfing; Brett and Christine enjoyed the biking on the beach and building sandcastles, and I could be found on the tennis courts. The whole family enjoyed the beach, the sun and the wonderful cuisine Hilton Head has to offer. Lester knew he was in trouble. It took us a few years to purchase our first property on the Island in Palmetto Dunes, and I couldn't get here often enough. Leaving the brilliant sunshine and the lifestyle that Hilton Head has to offer brought a tear to my eye every time. After my youngest graduated from high school, Lester, Christine and I drove to Hilton Head to start our new chapters in our lives.

I have worked in the travel industry which afforded me the pleasure of visiting many places, including several tropical islands, and not one of them offer the total quality that has gone into making Hilton Head Island the special place it is today.

I have raised Brett and Christine (making many memories on the Island) and consider it a privilege to be able to live and work in this wonderful setting. After 4 years of college at the College of Charleston, my daughter Christine decided Hilton Head Island is where she wants to call home and open her business, The Art of Massage. The Art of Massage will be celebrating their 2 year anniversary soon.
