Get to know Michael: Born in Buffalo, NY, Michael and Betsy Weppner first visited Hilton Head Island on their honeymoon in 1975. After visiting the island for over 20 years, he knew that there was no better place to live. Making a career move to start a new life in 1999, Michael, Betsy and family moved here to stay. "The weather, natural beauty and friendly people have made it wonderful," he said.

Real estate philosophy: Prior to his real estate career, Michael enjoyed a 25-year career in the men's apparel field, developing business skills and a high level of professionalism that has served him well in his transition to real estate sales. With Dunes Marketing Group for over 12 years, he specializes in residential sales and second home opportunities throughout the entire Hilton Head area. Whether buying or selling, Michael strives to offer knowledgeable and comprehensive service to meet each client’s best interest.

Family: wife, Betsy, works for Hilton Head Plantation POA; son, Michael and wife Jackie, live in NYC; son Greg lives in Miami; daughter, Kate and husband Tim live on Hilton Head.

Community service: Habitat for Humanity and volunteer on many committees in Hilton Head Plantation.

Hobbies and interests: Michael and Betsy enjoy gardening, walking their dog Paloma on the beach, reading, cooking for family and friends, and exploring the Lowcountry.
