What’s a home warranty? It’s not your homeowner’s insurance. It’s a specialized policy that can protect you from the uncertainties of buying (or selling) a home. It’s often overlooked.

The law requires that sellers disclose everything they know about a property. But what about the things they don’t know, the things that they can’t know? Things like the water heater that’s about to burst, the refrigerator that’s about to fail, or the unseen, unknown electrical, or plumbing, or structural problem.

There is a small deductible, but the AHS arranges for the repairs to be quickly completed and pays for them. It’s an excellent set or protections for the new homeowner.
